Ranch Network Privacy Policy

At Ranch Network, LLC (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we respect and protect the privacy of our customers (“you,” “customer,” or “your”) and website visitors. We have created this “Privacy Policy” to demonstrate our firm commitment to your right of privacy, and further describe our practices for how your personal information is collected and used. This Privacy Policy applies to information that we may collect and maintain about you when you visit www.ranchnetwork.com (the “Site”) and use our classified listings, discussion boards and other resources (“Ranch Network”). By visiting the Site or accessing Ranch Network, you expressly consent to the use and disclosure of your information as described below.

Information Collected

We collect and maintain specific types of information when you access Ranch Network. We may collect: (i) personal information, including your contact information, collected when you use or access, or set up an account with, Ranch Network (“Customer Information”); (ii) information you post on Ranch Network or our discussion boards; (iii) aggregated information about the use of Ranch Network to evaluate our customers’ preferences, improve our programming, and facilitate reporting of Internet usage; (iv) web logs and other standard data entries, including, without limitation, your IP address, page URL and timestamp; and (v) data about visitors to Ranch Network who may not be our customers. You have the option of not providing us with any of the foregoing information, in which case you may still be able to access some portions of Ranch Network, although you may not be able to access certain Ranch Network services or areas. Any information you post on Ranch Network or on our discussion boards is available and viewable by the public, including, without limitation, any information you include in your classified listing; and as such, Ranch Network has no control over how this information will be used.

To protect children’s personal information and to meet the standards of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect any personal information from persons under the age of thirteen (13) that can be used to specifically identify them and the Company does not permit persons under the age of thirteen (13) to use Ranch Network.

Uses and Disclosures of Customer Information

Your Customer Information will be kept confidential and will be used to support your relationship with us. Except as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy, we will not sell, rent or lease to others your Customer Information. If you have a problem, comment, or request concerning the Site or Ranch Network, or a dispute regarding the collection of fees related to a transaction on Ranch Network, we will use the contact information provided by you to respond to those problems, comments, requests or disputes. Also, the Company may use your Customer Information to: (i) prevent prohibited or illegal activities on Ranch Network; (ii) customize, measure and improve Ranch Network, its content and advertising; (iii) inform you of changes to this Privacy Policy and the “Terms of Use” (as posted on the Site); and (iv) enforce our rights under the Terms of Use. In certain instances, our response may be provided to other Ranch Network users or third parties as necessary to respond to any problem, comment, or request.

Under certain circumstances, Customer Information may be subject to disclosure pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, or orders. In such circumstances, you agree the Company may disclose such information to the extent necessary to comply with such legal requirement.

Third Party Communications

As part of Ranch Network, the Site and the Content (as defined in the Terms of Use) may contain links to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any third party websites. Users and visitors who link to third party websites from Ranch Network should check the privacy and security policy statements of such third party websites to understand the policies and practices of such third party websites as we are not responsible for those policies and practices.

Further, when you are involved in a transaction as a result of your use of or access to Ranch Network, each party involved in such transaction may obtain access to the other party’s name, email address, phone number and other contact and shipping information. We cannot guarantee the privacy or security of your information when you deal with such third parties. Except as otherwise expressly set forth herein, this Privacy Policy addresses only the use and disclosure of information the Company collects from you. If you disclose your information to others on Ranch Network or other sites on the Internet, you do so at your own risk as different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of such information. The Company does not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you may be subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable.

Control, E-mail and Opt-Out

If you establish a customer account with the Company, you retain sole control of the Customer Information related to your account. Accordingly you may add, modify or update your Customer Information at any time by accessing your account settings from http://ranchnetwork.com/user/[user#]/edit/profile.

If you receive one or more e-mails from us, it means one of two things: (i) your e-mail address is on our list of customers or prospective customers; or (ii) you have provided us your e-mail address so that we could contact you. If you believe you receive an email from us in error, please contact us immediately at info@ranchnetwork.com.

We provide you with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving certain communications from us at any point in time. Security of the Information Collected

We use technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. No data transmissions over the Internet, however, are guaranteed to be completely secure. While we strive to protect your data from unauthorized use or disclosure, the Company does not warrant or guarantee the security of the data that you provide to us.

Cookies

Cookies are files that web browsers place on a computer’s hard drive to tell site owners whether an individual has interacted with the website previously.
